Consisted of footage from a hidden camera in the ladies room of a Beijing night club this work is a daring documentary of the relations of a society where the figure of power is always present. The image focuses on a limited area of mirror in front of which young women are seen stopping. Between social critique and representation of a social space challenges the notion of what is public or private simultaneously questioning the empowering and dominant role of the state.
