Lucila Meirelles es videoartista, cineasta, historiadora y Magíster en Artes Visuales. Lucila ha explorado el lenguaje performativo, ficcional y documental en sus creaciones desde los años 1970. En los años 80 y 90 participó y ganó premios en festivales y exposiciones internacionales como: The Kitchen, Manifestação Internacional de Vídeo y Televisión de Montbeliárd, Berkeley Art Museum, Dallas Video Festival, Videobrasil, entre muchos otros.
Lucila Meirelles is a video artist, filmmaker, historian and teacher of Visual Arts. Lucila has explored performative, fictional and documentary language in her creations since the 1970s. In the 80s and 90s she participated and won awards in international festivals and exhibitions such as: The Kitchen, Manifestação Internacional de Vídeo y Televisión de Montbeliárd, Berkeley Art Museum , Dallas Video Festival, Videobrasil, among many others.
