“El Universo II de Alejo comienza con la imagen de un cielo nocturno adornado con filigranas de luz de estrellas distantes. El cosmos aparece como un paisaje frío y solitario. Pero entonces, inesperadamente, un dedo entra en el encuadre y toca el cielo, o mejor dicho, el parabrisas del coche a través del cual, sin querer, hemos estado mirando. Dejando una huella digital brumosa, nos devuelve abruptamente a la tierra mientras insinúa que nuestra comprensión visual depende inevitablemente del contexto que la enmarca.»

“Alejo’s Universe II opens with an image of a night sky filigreed with distant starlight. The cosmos appears as a chilly and lonesome landscape. But then a finger unexpectedly enters the frame and touches the sky -or rather, the car windshield through which we have unwittingly been looking. Leaving a misty finger print, it abruptly brings us back to earth while hinting that our visual comprehension es inevitably contingent upon the context that frame it”
